STATE WIDE CONTEST
Remember Unpublished Poems Only
Open "Topic" or "Theme"
DEADLINE: March 21, 2012
Entry Fee: $3.00 per poem for NJPS, Inc. members
$4.00 per poem for NON-MEMBERS
RULES: Entries must be unpublished and not currently entered in any other contest.
All peoms must be titled.
Only ONE poem may be submitted.
Poems must be typed using traditional font (i.e.: Times Roman)
NO ILLUSTRATIONS.
Send one original poem and two copies as follows: Two with No identification (no name) and a cover sheet with name and address in the upper right corner.
*No poems will be returned and all non-winning poems will be destroyed after the contest.
Prizes: 1st - $50.00, 2nd - $25.00, 3rd - $15.00
The entry fee of $3.00 for New Jersey Poetry Society (NJPS) members / $4.00 for non NJPS members must accompany the submission. Checks should be made payable to New Jersey Poetry Society, Inc.

STUDENT CONTESTS Parent signed permission required.
Elvira Vittorito Memorial: Award- $30.00 combined total ($10.00 for each 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade winner.)
The Eugene and Gloria Landy Fund: Award- $50.00 to be given to one 12th grade winner.
Anne Tomer Lee: "Young Poets Contest," Categories - Grades 6-8, Grades 9-12 Award- $10.00 each

Rules for Students' Contests: To
enter, students should submit one poem (2 copies) neatly typed on
8.5"x11" white paper. No illustrations. On one copy only the student grade level should be typed in the upper left corner; in the upper right
corner, the student's name and address. The second copy should be
submitted with no ID for anonymous judging.
